LIVE BAIT
Sea Bird Marina consistently has live bait, especially Live shrimp and pinfish in which we get resupply on a nearly daily basis. We also typically carry live crabs as well. During certain times of year, we also carry pilchards when they become available.
We take great care to make sure our live bait is healthy and ready for your fishing trip. If you have any questions about what’s the best bait for you, do not hesitate to ask as our knowledgeable staff is happy to answer your questions.
FROZEN BAIT
Here at Sea Bird Marina, we carry a vast variety of frozen bait to supplement your live bait like squid, shrimp, mullet, Bonita bites, Spanish sardines and Thread Herring. Additionally, we stock Frozen ballyhoo both rigged and unrigged along with chunk ballyhoo.
We have two kinds of menhaden tournament chum; green and blue. Blue is finer and works faster than the chunkier green chum but does not last as long. Our store has the right bait for your fishing trip whether you’re bridge fishing or from a boat. If you have any questions about what bait would work best for you just ask!
TACKLE
The store carries most items you need for your fishing trip from hooks & leaders to hats. We have fishing poles, bobbers, yoyos rigged & unrigged, hooks, line, leader, and sinkers.
In addition to fishing tackle the bait shop stocks chum bags, crab lines, a variety of bait buckets, big and small bubblers, air stones, batteries, bucket lids, bait nets and bridge nets.
Other merchandise that the marina offers like bridge carts, coolers, normal nets, bait knives, fillet knives, pliers, and scissors. We sell fishing licenses and rent fishing poles if you want to fish but do not want the hassle of taking the pole back home with you.
